A profile is like a resume. On Skyball, profiles vary depending on the type of account. For players, profiles consist of individual attributes, like height, age, personal video, etc. For coaches, they're more like a resume, with things like coaching history and accomplishments. For teams, there's an overview and a roster. All profiles have a section that lists your upcoming events.
Skyball has a public directory that scouts, recruiters, or just someone looking for a coach or team in their area. Each account comes with a listing in the directory that makes it easy to narrow down someone's search. Premium accounts come with promoted listings and come before Starter accounts. They also feature your personal video, if you have one.
Skyball makes it easy to narrow down results if you're looking for someone or something in particular. If you're looking for shoes online, you can filter out all the construction boots, or narrow to only include size 10. Skyball works just like this. Premium account feature more filters and allow for even better targeted results.
Events can be anything from a competition (a game or match), to a clinic, to a camp, to training. While Starter accounts are limited to posting their upcoming competitions, Premium users can post any type of event. Posting these on Skyball makes it easy you to keep your schedule or for attracting others to your events.
Skyball is public by default, because of the nature of listings. Just like ads for your services in the newspaper. You can, however, make your profile only visible to yourself and your team in the settings. You can see read our terms of service and privacy policy if you'd like.
If you've already got an account, you'll be asked to specify your username upon checkout. If you're upgrading to Premium+, you'll be asked to specify up to 12 usernames you wish to make Premium. You can change these at anytime by emailing your changes to usernames@skyball.com.
No. We don't require any long-term contracts. You can cancel at any time, and you won't be billed past your previous payment. However we do occasionally offer pre-payment for several months, but that's optional.
Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not accept PayPal. At this time we only accept payments online so we will not be able to accept a P.O., invoice you, or take an order over the phone.
